Creactive Coaching
You already have the insight. This is the work of making it stick.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change."Carl Rogers
The gap
High-performing leaders have usually done the work. The leadership programs, the assessments, the coaching conversations, the books. The insight is genuinely there.
But in the moments that matter most, under pressure, in a difficult conversation, in a decision that has to be made right now, old patterns return. The stress response takes over. The insight does not translate into behaviour.
This is not a knowledge problem. It is an embodiment gap: the distance between what you understand intellectually and how you actually show up.
Creactive Coaching works specifically at that gap.
Who this is for
You have done the work before. Maybe a lot of it. And yet something keeps recurring: in how you lead, how you communicate, how you respond when the stakes are high. You are not looking for more information. You are looking for genuine change.
Creactive is not the right fit if you are looking for open-ended exploration without structure, or if you are dealing with trauma or psychological distress. That is the domain of therapy, and the distinction matters. Creactive is forward-facing, developmental, and finite.
The model
Three phases, each building on the last. Development progresses outward, from first noticing to fully living.
You begin noticing what you think, feel, and react to. How you speak about yourself and your situation. What triggers your habitual responses. This is the entry point: not changing anything yet, just seeing clearly.
The noticing becomes more deliberate. You develop reflective practices that build pattern literacy, the ability to see your own habits before they run you. The space between stimulus and response begins to widen.
New responses become your natural default. Not performed, not forced, not contingent on the right conditions. Lived. This is integrated autonomy: the change is no longer something you do, it is something you are.
What to expect
A defined arc, not an open-ended relationship. A clear beginning, middle, and completion. You will know when you are done.
Structured reflective writing between sessions. Not journaling in the casual sense. A deliberate practice that builds the neural pathways between awareness and action.
Awareness, then Attentive Engagement, then Embodiment. Each phase is sequenced deliberately. Integration comes before action, not after.
"Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am."Parker Palmer
The daily writing practice is this: listening to your life as data. Not venting, not analysing, not planning. Listening.
An important distinction
If you are unsure which is right for where you are, that is worth a conversation. I would rather point you toward the right support than take on work that is not mine to do.
Where this comes from
Creactive is a model I built myself. It came together in 2025, during my own pass through The Artist's Way, Julia Cameron's twelve-week creative recovery programme. The name is the whole idea: creative and active. Insight only counts once it moves.
It came out of twenty years of building teams and developing the people inside them, and out of doing the same work on myself first. I was the client before I was the coach.
The coaching work and the advisory work come from the same place: a belief that real change is built from the inside, and that the right kind of structured support makes that change possible.
Start a conversationThe first conversation is just that: a conversation. No commitment, no pressure. Let us see if this is the right fit.
